DONATIONS AND PROCESSING CENTER

2 FT Receiving Material Handlers @ $6.50 an hour

Material Handlers will transport and process donated and purchased merchandise for preparation for sale, in order to meet preset production and sales goals. Handlers will handle day to day operations of processing, moving bales, physically loading or unloading trucks and operating compressor machines.Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug test and lift test.

1FT Receiving Sorter @ $8.00 an hour

Sorter must be able to speak and read English. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.Receiving Sorter must have a high school diploma or GED necessary. Have the ability to follow verbal instructions and to work as a team member.Be able to continuously perform repetitive work as a set pace. Exercise good judgment on quality of goods sorted for processing.

1 FT Soft Pricer @ $10.00 an hour

The ability to speak English.Spanish is preferred, but not mandatory to obtain employment.Pricer must be willing to learn necessary Spanish/English vocabulary that is related to the clothing in order to communicate with existing staff.Elementary school education is required.High school diploma or GED preferred.Ability to follow verbal instructions and to work as a team member.Be able to continuously perform repetitive work as a set pace.

2 FT Wares Pricer@ $8.00

The Pricer is to define merchandise that is sellable and merchandise that is salvage and price accordingly.The ability to speak English. Pricer can speak Spanish or be bi-lingual also.Have a high school diploma or GED necessary. Have the ability to follow verbal instructions and to work as a team member.Be able to continuously perform repetitive work as a set pace.

5 FT Wares Processors @$6.50 an hour

Must have either a high school or GED diploma.Experience in retail management and production management is preferred.Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and staff, ability to read and do basic math, (English preferred) bi-lingual and forklift certification a plus.Must be able to work independently and have reliable transportation or access public transportation, some computer experience is necessary but must have a willingness to learn.

1 FT Linen Pricer @$8.00 an hour

The ability to speak and read English. Pricer must be willing to learn necessary Spanish/English vocabulary that is related to the linen department in order to communicate with existing staff.Elementary school education is required.High school diploma or GED preferred.Ability to follow verbal instructions and to work as a team member.Be able to continuously perform repetitive work as a set pace.

11 FT Donations Ambassadors @ $8.00 an hour

Donation Ambassadors must have excellent customer service skills.Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with the public and Team members.Must have at least a year of customer service experience. Must be able to read and write. As a Donations Ambassador you will promptly approach and professionally greet walk-up or drive-in donors.

FT Book Pre-Scanner @ $8.00 an hour

High school diploma or GED.Basic knowledge of books.Competent in internet use and a variety of computer software applications.Able to work independently and in a team environment.Must have good organizational and decision making skills.Good communication skills.Ability to follow verbal instructions and to work as a team member.Be able to continuously perform repetitive work at a set pace.Must have the ability to learn the techniques of the job from short demonstration up to a period of one month.

FINANCE

1 FT Payroll Clerk @ $15.00 an hour

Clerk must have 2-4 years experience in payroll and accounting.Weekly duties include entering all timekeeping information, file maintenance, report creation, record keeping and filing payroll reports using payroll service bureau systems.Must be proficient in Quickbooks and understand ADP Payroll software.Must be knowledgeable also of ADP Time and Attendance software.

Applicant must have a Bachelors of Arts/Science degree in a related field with a minimum two years of demonstrated experience in employment counseling, career counseling, job development and placement. Applicant must have excellent oral and written presentation skills, excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure, as well as solid computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Email and Internet.Experience working with persons who have barriers to employment from various socio-economic, professional and ethnic backgrounds preferred.
